Another perfect day in South Pasadena reminded us what it's all about — a thriving community, a healthy landscape, fresh air, a robust entrepreneurial spirit, and lots of good energy.

AGZA was honored to participate in the first annual South Pasadena Earth Day Block Party, choreographed and hosted by one of the City of South Pasadena's most cheerful and energetic eco-champions, Senior Management Analyst Debby Figoni. We joined a dozen other local green vendors who shared their time and knowledge on a spectrum of environmental issues with the appreciative eco-curious neighborhood.

We were especially gratified to hear how many residents had noticed and appreciated their recently quieter, zero-emission Garfield Park, the nation's first ever Municipal AGZA Green Zone. This park is getting attention and appreciation in the community and we can't wait to spread the AGZA Green Zone love at South Pasadena's other parks.

Speaking of the Garfield success story, we were happy to find our friends from TruGreen Land Care in the next booth today. This is the great crew that took on the challenge and opportunity to transition to 100% gas-free grounds maintenance, and then partnered with AGZA and the City of South Pasadena to maintain Garfield Park emission-free.
