Green Zone
Case Studies

We're very proud of what we've accomplished already — and we're just getting started.

Here's a look at some of the best examples of AGZA Green Zones for municipal, commercial, academic and residential properties.

MUNICIPAL
GREEN ZONE

Garfield park, South Pasadena, CA

South Pasadena in conjunction with the American Green Zone Alliance has dedicated Garfield Park as the first AGZA Green Zone municipal park in the country maintained one hundred percent gas and emissions free! Only battery-electric lawn equipment and hand tools are used at Garfield Park, which is located in a residential neighborhood.

COMMERCIAL
GREEN ZONE

The home fields of the Torrance American Baseball (TABB) Pony Leagues gets a breath of fresh air. Torrance-based Evergreene Lawn Care, an AGZA Certified Service Provider, partnered with TABB to create a quieter, healthier set of diamonds so the local sluggers can focus on catching fly balls instead of catching their breath.

COMMERCIAL
GREEN ZONE

Malibu Country Mart, Malibu, CA

The Malibu Country Mart's mission for sustainability and environmental consciousness is on-going. We believe that our sustainable, green, and eco-friendly practices have a positive impact in our local Malibu coastal community and beyond its borders. One of our principal goals is to improve the environmental quality of this community by making use of the latest green technologies available.

ACADEMIC
GREEN ZONE

Santa Monica College, Santa Monica, CA

Santa Monica College is one of the greenest in the nation! AGZA is very proud to be an ally of SMC's inspiring campus-wide sustainability programs, facilities, and operations — which include AGZA Academic Green Zones in select areas of campus.

RESIDENTIAL
GREEN ZONES and GREEN INITIATIVES

ALL OVER THE SOUTHLAND  : )

AGZA is honored to collaborate with thoughtful homeowners who see the value in caring for their property in quieter and more sustainable ways. Some have created AGZA Certified Green Zones. Others are simply taking steps to reduce the carbon footprint of their yard with electric equipment and hand tools.
