AGZA works with City and County officials
to create Green Zones in public parks,
at civic centers, and along thoroughfares.
AGZA works with City and County officials to create Green Zones on public property in specific jurisdictions. The AGZA Certified Municipal Green Zone (MGZ) can be applied to multiple properties types, including public parks, civic centers, thoroughfare landscaping and any other areas maintained by maintenance crews or contracts.
AGZA certification includes consultation with officials to determine appropriate, high profile and/or high traffic areas that would benefit most from Green Zoning. AGZA determines the most efficient and economical way to maintain these Green Zones and trains and educates maintenance crews and supervisors.
In many instances, cities and counties subcontract some or all of its property maintenance requirements and in these instances, county officials can award points to proposals from a company that has the capability of emission free maintenance practices. This has the intended consequence of incentivising maintenance companies to create a “green” division within their organization that can be utilized by other clients interested in gas free maintenance.
